Mallory electric fuel pump

Mallory electric fuel pump

Anybody using one? I'm thinking of buying the comp 140 because i'm having problems with my holley mechanical.

I have just recently installed the new 150hp holley electric pump (black pump) and I find it is a great pump for the price. It is far better than the holley blue pump I had on there. Try having a look at those pumps.

i've heard that the holley pumps are really loud and not very reliable whereas the mallory ones are quieter and more reliable.

My blue pump was really loud but the black pump is actually alot quieter. I was surprised when I first turned it on.

Just in case your interested here are the specs for the 140 GPH Black pump :biggrin:
Features
• New tumble polished billet look

• Compatible with alcohol or methanol fuels
• Flows 140 GPH (free flow)
• Flows 120 GPH at 9 PSI
• Maximum pressure is 14 PSI
• 3/8” NPT inlet and outlet ports
• Fuel pressure regulator is required.
Recommend P/N 12-704 for gasoline; P/N 12-707 for alcohol
• Motor draws only 4 Amps current
• 7 1/2 Amp fuse recommended
• Provides constant fuel flow with no pulsation
• Has externally accessible pressure relief valve (max 14 PSI)
• Rotor/Vane pump design is more tolerant of contaminated fuels

No problem, glad I can help out. I paid about $200 us from summit, which isn't that bad considering the exchange rate is low right now.
