Well here is a link to a comparison test on all of the top synthetic motor oils, I have always used Mobil 1 and actually in my '10 I used Motorcraft synthetic, but I always seem to lean towards the Mobil 1. I've always liked the Amsoil products, and I did use it when I had my 95 GT, but I thought it was a little costly. Anyway here's the link

Thanks everyone.

Is the new 5.0 known for using/burning oil between oil changes?
I have read a few people mention about it.

I've heard about oil usage but saw none at all with my 13. A litre between oil changes is usually acceptable according to the manufacturer.

My '12 did go through oil, but it was well under the liter per oil change. It was noticeable on the dipstick, but never got down to the add mark. Couldn't have been more than half a liter on the high side I'm thinkin'

I looked this up at bobstheoilguy.com and Motomaster synth is made by Shell. It's a decent group3 synthetic. I've used it exclusively for my '08GT and I don't use a drop between oil changes.
