Plugs in 306 with gt40 heads

Got new wires etc for my 86 cobra. Pulled out the plugs to look and there are autolite 764 app double platinums in there. The car has a cam and gt40 heads and runs around 10.5/1 compression.

Any thoughts on these plugs in this set up? Not sure if copper core autolites are better and what heat range. I like traditional plugs better myself, always have.

Can someone post the cylinder order for the 5.0. Would be greatly appreciated.

Platinum plugs are mostly for longer life, no real performance benefit. I'd suggest going with Autolite or Motorcraft copper core plugs. 32 heat range in the Motorcraft plugs would be OK.

Ford V8 engines are numbered 1-2-3-4 down the passenger bank front to back, and 5-6-7-8 down the driver bank.

cheers

Thank you very much Ed.

You are a wealth of knowledge.
Would you know the autolite plug part number for the 32 heat range?

Thanks again, greatly appreciated.
