Hi Guys,
I just finished installing a BBK induction system, 65mm throttle body and spacer. I also honed out the stock upper intake, only where the spacer attaches to the upper intake (maybe not a good idea??) to smooth out the air flow.
When i started the car it has a rough idle and dark smoke from the exhaust.
I checked all the connections everything seems to be ok.
Any suggestions on what the problem might be.

TPS out of adjustment? what year car? looks like an older one with SD-is the line still attached to the MAP sensor?

 

It's 86 with SD. i'll check it out.

Turned out to be a disconnected map sensor hose.
