Slipping?

Slipping?
So..
got the car converted over to stick... went with the center force DF, new throw out bearing, pilot, flywheel turned ...
All together .. computer swap'd.. had problems with it starting, due to the neutral safety switch that was no longer there (on the aode). Figured out which wires needed to be jump'd ..
Now.. setting up the pedal, if I adjust it all the way back, I can't get the car into gear. If I adjust it so I can get the car into gear, if i give a little gas, i have slippage?
Any idea's guys?

it was the stock ...
now I have a ford adjustable.....
And SAME PROBLEM !!!
If I adjust it till the point where it's hard to get into gear, min slippage.. if i adjust it to just the point where I can get it into gear easy (like you should) I get lots of slippage

That's just insane. Stupid question, did you use brake clean to clean off the flywheel before you bolted the clutch to it? Just making sure...........
I'm using my stock cable on mine with the stock adjuster, pulled up on the pedal, it adjusted, works mint.....????

no, i never used brake clean on my flywheel, thought i could just use it from just being turned..
maybe this is why it's slipping?
it feels like the pedal just isn't long enough.....
Says there's to be slack in the cable, able to move it 1/4 to 1/8th of an inch... i have to pull it tight and put tention on the fork..
Should the fork be right against the far edge of the opening?
for some reason or another I feel as though it's still engauged when fully extended..

With the stock setup, when your foot is off the pedal there should be a small amount of slack in the cable (the very top of the pedal should feel light) so you know the clutch is fully engaged. BUT, you should be able to completely disengage it at about 1/2 pedal (that's where mine is) and yes, if you didn't clean the flywheel after putting it on, it could have something on it causing the slippage. Even after I got mine turned, I sprayed it down quite well because of course I had grease/oil on my hands when I was putting it up..........
