Timing issue.

So I went to time my 1995 5.0 yesterday and ran in to a problem. My timing marks on my balancer are off. Yes I pulled the jumper. Right now I am running 2° retarded if the marks are right. Any higher and I start pinging. Any ideas on what's wrong?

So it is a wore and spun harmonic balencer. Set the car to tdc on #1 and the marks are about 1/8 turn clockwise. Summit has the ford race ones for $80 is there any reasonably close priced ones in Canada?
