Trouble Starting...Fuel pump?
I just put my mustang on the road, drove it up north and no troubles...However, now it wont start . The engine turns over but won't start. I've checked the spark plugs (they're not in perfect condition but they're OK) I will be replacing them anyways and I've already charged and had the battery tested and its good. I've noticed that when I turn the key to the "on" position that I can't hear the usual "wheeen" noise that the fuel pump usually makes...am I safe to say that I need a new fuel pump? If I can get some reinforcement to my observations and analysis of this problem, then I'll go ahead and buy a new pump and filter while I'm at it. Has anyone taken their gas tank and fuel pump off? Is it a big job?? If anyone could help me out here it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Theo

Yes, thank you, I forgot to mention I have already checked that, I believe it is called the inertia switch...I assume the pump is dead, or that it doesn't have power to it because I can't hear it turn on...like I usually can and the spark plugs were dry as well

Tonight I dropped out the tank and tested the fuel pump, it's working and has plenty of pressure (I just blocked it with my thumb and sent current threw it and it pushed my thumb off) so the fuel pump is not the problem but we know it's not getting power, I'm going to bypass the inertia switch and then try starting the car...Any other Ideas??

supercharger on stock mustang opinion
I recently acquired a bone stock 1992 Mustang 5.0 Special Edition in great shape. 50,000 miles, original top, paint, etc even the stock converters, mufflers, and air silencer in the air intake.
This is a rare care and in rare stock condition. But I have always wanted a supercharged car. Not for racing but to have, hear, and sometimes get my foot into.
It has a 5 speed and 2:73 rear. Again, not for racing but to hear it whine and have a supercharged car.
What would be the best brand for my needs and is there one that's reliable and reasonably priced ?
Would I need to do anything else to the car ? If it means larger injectors, fuel pump, etc, I think I'll pass.
