Its real easy to build a 9, 10 or 11 second combo. Believe me, it's not rocket science. Those guys down south were doing it decades ago. Hell, they are putting 88mm Turbo's on 04 Cobra's and easily breaking the 1K mark at the wheel. I thought I had wicked numbers with 712 rwtq at the rear (with only 16psi), but it's peanuts these days. Most up here are just posers. Just log on to the bullet.

Fast is not mid 9's anymore, period! So unless you're going low-mid 8's on a 275, there really isn't much thinking that you're a hero. Just have fun with the car and enjoy getting out with the family to cruises or the track. In the meantime, I'm out of this *****-measuring contest (for those of us who still can view the little guy), so if any one of you wanna buy some parts or my parachute, PM me.

and next time I go to photograph you at the track, remind me to bring the wide angle lens, as there were some really really fatass broads there. lmfao.

peace.
You made 712 rwtq at the wheel????the best you ran was a 10.84......what did you do with the other 350 rwtq? can't wait to here this! As far as thinking Im a hero, Not really I've been running mid to low 11's for 20 years. You would think I would have put the spray to it to set that national record To me that would be easy.

you work shift work, or you're just lonely at 2:00 am lmfao....

K, here it is. I hope this is "simplified" down enough for you.

10.84 @ 130 was last summer (2010), this is with the old combo. This combo consisted of a YSI running only 13psi, an X cam (which prolly isn't the best choice, but ran out of time to get a decently matched one) and hadn't been tuned since the summer before (2009). This year-old tune was 535rwhp and 560ishrwtq and was also tuned with a different cam.

fast forward to this past winter (2011). I put in a turbo kit, okay.........took it to get tuned and it made 650rwhp and 712rwtq. This was in June of this year (2011). Haven't been to the track since the new tune/combo.

I hope that is easy enough to follow for you.

20 years eh? wow. This is the reason why I'm out. I'm still a young pup and I certainly hope that I don't spend the next 20 standing around parking lots with a coffee in one hand and someone else's dick in the other (or keeping within the same 11 second bracket for 20 years for that matter)....

cheers.

I played hockey at 11....so you did all that work and now your going to sell it all?? without getting to the track. Sounds like you are over your head with your build $$$$whats the good of building something you can't maintain.

Sounds like you were trying to be a hero and fell short....I rather run slow and go racing 10 or 15 times a year myself.

the car is paid for. Don't owe anything on it........

I didn't know that my life was any of your business? but if you need to know......

Actually, my wife and I are both from the country, so we have been looking at land to build a Scandanavian log home on. If you know anything about land and it's maintenance, you know that it takes up quite a bit of time, not to mention the huge deck, basement, and many of the other disciplines that I will be taking care of myself.........

Nope, didn't fall short at all. Just interested in taking care of my family and giving them the life that I had when I was brought up in lovely Effingham.

If you think that it sounds weird, as your buddy Ian, he is in the same boat, so lick my nuts.

that, and I just find it really really boring standing around parking lots, looking at the same cars, talking to the same people, week in week out. If I were to get more into the racing scene, it would be more serious than just T&T, as that's how I operate, so now's a good time to concentrate on something else before it's too late and I wasted half a life at the track or cruise nights, while being in a small crappy house on a postage stamp lot. But that's just me.

I don't think I asked for this info? I honestly don't care if you live in a three storey card board box. Ian has a thing for tow trucks and flat beds.....wait a sec! its that time of the year again. lol! I no how you operate! You had a turbo brought back for you, did you offer a payment of any kind....No! you took what you needed and never looked back. And now you treat the old guy like on here ......go raise your family!

first off breaking whatever i can promise you that blowns car is far superior to whatever you have, and to mock the guy for prioritizing his family over his hobby is just plain stupid. This whole deal with crash started cause you wanted the shute, and what cause blown had parts shipped to crashes us address means what he owes him his ????? I know blown real well and he is a generous person and if Crash wanted any compensation for using his address I know he would have been compensated. like I stated earlier, i built my slow mediocre car complete, everything was done by me. I completely doubt you can say the same. Once my family is in the home I want as well believe me I can promise you I will have a car much cleaner and faster than yours. Since its cleaner now I am half way there

Chris, your car is more than half way there.

It's slick........I found some more pics of it from that day....

Here it is in the background, just thought that you'd like the ricer!!!!

You kindof did ask for that info, by insinuating that I was getting out of the game because I was in over my head, remember? So, I replied by letting you know that it’s not because of money being owed on the car, it’s because of our plans for a real life, and not one stuck in a parking lot.

Actually, you’re wrong once again. I specifically asked him if he wanted something in return. He said no but something along the lines of giving him a deal when and if I sell some parts……..

Yeah, I know how I operate too, being on the phone for hours on end (at work and at home) trying to help him post a single picture. Oh, that’s right, he left that part out. Not to mention Avatar help too. But whatever…………

I’m treating Popeye like ? Who was all pissy because he couldn’t buy his friend a parachute? I’ve just been on the defence ever since the whole parachute thing. You tards started that, not me nor StealthStang.
