Which part is not helping, that way I can correct the errors of my ways

All breaking parts wants is for you to lock the thread like they do over at his favorite site. Snakebite keep up the good work

So breaking parts is it true you put on smaller slicks and added juice to your car for that wheelie pic, looks to me you did the same thing I have done. You added juice to maybe not a mediocre car like me but to a mediocre driver like you

Jeez you guys have been busy. How did I ever miss this one ? Does anyone need a timeout? lol

This is the best thread I have read in forever, and somehow knowing a few involved makes it so much better. I actually would like to see what is being compared here, Breakinparts I know your ole bucket of bolts, and have no doubts of it getting down the track in a hurry, trust me guys, Krispy Kremes don't slow this cowboy down, although I don't understand why not. Stealthstang, whats the specs on yours, don't think I have seen your car, but it sure looks shiny!!! :D:D:D

so, the ratio of reading and posting is kindof low eh?

No, I doubt that is where Drag racing is headed. I couldn't care less either way....

Breakingballs. Love the pizza cutters on the rear. I don't know much about cars, but that must drastically increase your rear gear ration eh?

10.84 @ 130 was last summer (2010), this is with the old combo. This combo consisted of a YSI running only 13psi, an X cam (which prolly isn't the best choice, but ran out of time to get a decently matched one) and hadn't been tuned since the summer before (2009). This year-old tune was 535rwhp and 560ishrwtq and was also tuned with a different cam.

fast forward to this past winter (2011). I put in a turbo kit, okay.........took it to get tuned and it made 650rwhp and 712rwtq. This was in June of this year (2011). Haven't been to the track since the new tune/combo.

What is your race weight? What size tire? Gear? You made 535 RWHP and ran a 10.84@130?

Crash used to run 10.30's @ 137mph with a 306 back in the mid 90's also on pump gas, but since that was faster than any NHRA superstocker at the time they bought the car and had it destroyed to save the racers the embarrassment....he took the money and signed a waver not to race for 15 years....
