Either one will work fine, you could also use gas or WD-40.

umm, i heard that WD-40 is a "nono" because it leaves a residue behind?
or is that only a nono for the MAF?

It only leaves a residue if you don't wipe it off good afterwards, put some on a rag, clean the pintle, wipe off well. Or you could use gas, or buy some cleaner, but WD will work, you just need to give it a wipe, same as the others. You are correct though, it should never be used on a maf.

Yes it will, I just didn't mention it 'cause not many people have it, but everyone had gas or WD, have fun.
