I know its off season, but I'm not the one selling. I'm the one thats thinking of buying it but the guy is asking $11000 and regardless of its condition I think he's asking way too much. Thats why I wanted some other opinions.

Every joker that's ever owned a Mustang wants way more than it's worth. What they advertise for and what they get are two different things. After many years being a "Mustang" guy, I can tell you they defy the logic of the normal car depreciation curve which is: new retail value......dropping hard in the first 3-4 years......level off until year 10-15....then start to come back up in 20 years if it's a collector.
The price of fox bodies is so far gone, it's crazy. In 1987, I was about 15 years old and got major wood for a fox. Since then, I've watched the cars value drop like normal which means a brand new $17,500 fox at the 3 year mark in 1990 with 75,000kms would be worth $8 to 10K. It seems the price has never moved from there in the following 16 years no matter what the mileage or condition. For those of us that have been there watching the whole time, it's totally rediculous to pay that kind of money for a fox, but it seems the price is creeping back up prematurely as a collector, especially the 85-86's. So that means the window has passed and if you want a clean one, you'll need to pay at least a bit more or find someone that has had one all this time and didn't realize the following it has. I'm waiting to find someone like that, cause I'll be damed if I pay one of you guys that kind of money for a fox. If I didn't write my off, I'd still have it today.

I would take a look at it. if it's the one on GTMAC. I must say that is one of the cleanest coupes and worth a good buck. The amount of pennies is on you. Personally for a stocker. I wouldn't go over $10K
I took mine home ( 91 Notch with gears, Full Exhaust, Pullies, Original Emerald Green, Cobra R's with some fat tires, Upper / Lower control arms and alluminum driveshaft full MB quat sound system.. 2 amps. 4 caps, Crossovers, Deck, Yellow top Battery and 1 owner for $9000 with 110,000kms on it. 100% no rust.. mint! )
Still a stock motor and trans and original inside and that was 2 years this spring. I've got offers for $11,000 for it.
If the car is that clean. he will get what he wants for it i'm sure.
