PEC Cruise
Official Prince Edward County Cruise
Date: July 1st 2007
Time: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Beginning Location: Duncan Mc Donald Community Gardens. Trenton
Stops:
1. Sandbanks Winery - http://www.sandbankswinery.com
2. Black River Cheese Factory - http://www.blackrivercheese.com/index.html
3. Lake On The Mountain - http://www.lakeonthemountain.com/
4. Splash Restaurant - No Website.

Directions:
From the highway, take exit #526 Glen Miller Road South. Turn into Sidney. Take Sidney South to Dixon, turn right. Left at Marmora. Left at Dundas, and right at South Street. Enter the Community Gardens.
Leaving the Gardens, left onto Dundas, stay on Dundas then left onto CR-33 South. Follow 33 to stop #1.
From stop #1, follow 33 to Bloomfield. Turn right at the corner, then turn right onto Stanely Street (CR-12). Follow CR-12 into Sandbanks Provincial Park. Follow 12 through to CR-18. Right on 18 and follow to Cherry Valley. Right onto CR-10, follow to Milford. Right onto CR-9 and follow to south bay. Left onto CR-13 and follow to stop #2.
From stop number to, take CR-13 and follow to CR-8. Turn right onto CR-8 and follow all the way around Cressy Point, then turns into CR-7. Follow to stop #3.
From stop #3, follow CR-7 to CR-33 and turn left. Follow 33 into Picton, and then stop at stop#4.
I plan to stop at least 30 mins at each stop. I will also obtain maps for key people in the cruise. This means at least every 3 or 4 cars will be following someone with a map.
2-way radios are extremely handy on this cruise. There are few gas stations along the way, but enough to satisfy the gastanks. The last stop, Splash, will require us to park our cars in a parking area thats just behind the building.
After Splash, I will direct the group to Talbot St which turns into CR-4. On that road is a nice tree covered section of road.
The time I put down is a guideline only. I would like to be leaving the Trenton area by 9:30 - 10:00 am. I would expect that we would be finished around 2:00 pm, but possibly may go later. At that point, we eat at the restaurant, and then everyone can leave at their own discretion.
Please post in here if you are coming, as I would like to have a general idea of how many cars will be there so I can arrange parking space.
