CJ's customer service

Steve, just wanted to pass along a little example of good customer service.

I bought quite a few parts recently from CJ's and all arrived just fine.

I did also buy a staggered set of Ford Racing boss laguna seca wheels.
The 2 19X10 rims were damaged while the fronts were perfect.
I went on the CJ's site and hit the help online function where a guy chatted with me about the problem.
He asked me to email him pictures which I did.
A few days later a customer service rep emailed to tell me that UPS was dispatched to pick up the damaged rims and that a new pair were on the way.
UPS picked up the wheels and probably 4 days later the new wheels arrived at my door in perfect condition.

Yesterday a lady from CJ's called to see if my replacement wheels arrived in good shape.

I have to say that is pretty good customer service.....I wasn't one bit pissed either because shipping damage happens and I was looked after so all is good.

I know people are quick to slam a company for poor service (which is expected in extreme cases) but good service sometimes goes unrecognized.

I'll be back for more stuff soon.

Nice to see a positive outcome. Crap happens some times, some people just can't seem to accept that for some reason.

Glad to hear everything worked out for you. Thank you for the positive feedback as it's always nice to hear. I'll be sure to pass it on to the sales/csr team.

Yah, good on yah. Most are quick to complain, look at the guys that sign up on this very forum just to post a complaint about Ford, or how the "stealership" has done them wrong. Two sides to every story. It's one thing to be looking for help, another to get on the soapbox and rant about whatever complaint is on their mind, and some people are never satisfied with customer service no matter HOW good it is. There's customer service that you expect, and then there's the extra little touches that mean a lot, like the phone call after the second delivery to see if everything's OK. Nice. Too much negativity in the world, good to see the positive. How you approach the retailer with a problem goes a long way to how you are treated in return, get all hostile and you'll probably get the minimum help.

It is extremely rare for a company to ship new parts out before receiving the damaged ones...this alone has really impressed me.
