68 Mustang Suspension / Shocks
Just replaced shocks on all four corners. The car had 30+ year old Munroes, air-adjust on back , Munroe-matic on front. Car rode like crap. Installed KYB gas-adjust shocks. I was expecting the rear to fall to 26" (27" @125psi / 26"@0psi with Munroes), but wasn't expecting the front to raise 2 inches ( 26" to 28") The car looks ridiculous, like it's launching off the line while standing still. Anyone else experience this phenomena? I guess I'll be looking at changing the springs in the front (didn't really want to )

68 Suspension
Yes, I was anticipating a sagging rear end on the Mustang, the leaf springs look pretty beat, so I had a new set ordered to be proactive (not installed yet).
Here are specs I found on a Mustang forum measured through center of wheel to fender arch.
For 68 Mustang with standard suspension:
Front - 26.68 tolerance +1.00 and -0.70
Rear - 25.39 tolerance +1.00 and -0.75
Full tank of fuel, all engine fluids at full
Spare tire with wheel in design position
Front seat at rearmost position, jack and components in design position
Tires inflated to 24-psi front and rear (for ride height evaluations only)
6.95-14 tires
I have 15" rims, so I should be a bit higher and when you look at the tolerance of +1" , I actually would be close to spec.
Still looks ridiculous though.

Leaf Springs
Had new leaf springs installed on car today. It raised the rear up to 27", front has settled to 27.5". It doesn't look too bad now. Still considering new springs for front to lower it an inch or so, but, will hold off for now.

Post some pics up when you get a chance. I'm thinking I'd agree with you that the front probably still needs drop a little.

68 Mustang - shocks and Leaf Springs
Finally, a picture of Stang after new shocks and leaf springs. Still sitting a little high in front, but, within factory spec. Will leave it this way for now. Sure rides a lot better now.
