Looks nice!

Pprince - yes the 302 GT's came with a nine-inch rear.

Is the 9inch overkill for that motor?

A nine inch is overkill on most cars. The 8 inch is a strong axle in its own right.

Where a 9 inch is necessary is on a high horsepower car with a manual transmission and sticky tires. Then instead of breaking the axle you break your u-joints

It is not common knowledge that the 302-4V got a 9 inch in 1968. It came standard with 3.25 gearing.

For those that don't know, Rumble and I have been friends for years and I know his Mustang very well. I am glad he is back posting on CMOC.

Rumble's Mustang is the very first car I professionally appraised back in 2004. Nelson is "the man" and I will forever be grateful to him.

Here is mine, she needs some finishing touches but the parts are on order. It's a GT350 clone but I got what I could afford.

On a side note if any of you have't used kentucky mustang I highly reccommend them. I ordered a rear seat, upholstery, for front and back, door panels, weather stripping and all the rear interior trim pieces for $1200.00 and that included shipping to Calgary. I tried using the Mustang shop here in town and pretty much had to beg them to take my money.
I stopped in there one afternoon and explained what I needed and they suggested I email them pictures so they could better understand. So when I got home I sent them in. I didn't hear any thing for two days so I called and asked if they received the email. He said, "umm I don't know, let me look. Oh yeah here it is." So he looked at the photos while I was on the phone and said he would get some prices together and get back to me. A week goes by and I still haven't heard anything so i call again. Talk to the same guy, (not going to name names) and he acted surprised as if he hadn't looked at the email before. I told him I talked to him last week and he was going to get me prices. He looked at the email again and said, let me take a look and give you a call. I'm still waiting for that call and that was December 16th. Needless to say I contacted Kentucky mustang and part of my order has already showed up. The shippng was only $220.00 and keep in mind there are a lot of big pieces.
Sorry to ramble on, I just thought I would share my experience with you guys.

^^^same experience for me but I was looking for rims. I gave them 1500.00 as a deposit and three weeks later they had not been ordered. Needless to say I took my dough elsewhere. I am glad you found satisfaction in the mean time. Do you attend the Wed night cruise in at the Deerfoot Mall?

What is with the Mustang Shop? So brutal which is to bad seeing as they are right in town.
I actually just heard about the Deerfoot Mall cruise in from a coworker. I'm looking forward to it. When does that start up?
