Question Radiator

Should the top radiator hose be soft when squeezed? They are rock hard after the car has been running and I am thinking I am not getting any flow.
Thanks

IMO
Cold they should be somewhat flexible.
Hot they should be even more flexible.
How are your temps after running the car?

The rad hoses will be under pressure when the car has been running and hot and thus stiffer than cold. An easy way to see if you are getting flow is get the car to temperature and see if the rad and rad hoses are at an even temperature top and bottom. Or remove the cap while cold and start the motor, let it get to temperature. When the thermostat opens you should see the coolant moving in the tank. It may even burp a bit out. Stu
