05 GT500 parts on a 09 base V6
#11
The front springs will raise the car and be a little stiff. The supercharged 5.4 is quite heavy compared to the 4.0 in the '09. If the rear springs are from a coupe, they could be a little soft. IIRC, the 'vert uses different springs in the rear vs. the coupe. Did the rear swaybar come with the mounts/links? The GT500 bar is considerably thicker than the V6 one and will need beefier links. Again, I'm not sure about the 'vert, but base V6 coupes didn't even have a rear swaybar, which is fine as long as you got the hardware with the bar. Also, (IIRC) I think the rear swaybar is different from coupe to 'vert. Other than that, you should be golden. A quick way to confirm if the shocks/struts are indeed from a 500 is to check the factory stickers... V6s have a blue label, GTs have a green label, and 500s are red. I can't speak from personal experience on the GT500 shocks/struts, but the regular GT stuff has made a nice improvement to the ride/drive in my car.
I have an '07 V6 coupe running on GT suspension (shocks, struts, springs and sways). Even with the extra 40-50lbs of supercharger weight on the front end, the GT front springs raised the front end by 1/4-1/2". The GT500 springs would likely raise it even more (unless the GT500 has a lower ride height than the standard cars...that I'm not sure of). The GT mufflers sound really good on the V6. Even putting the single right side muffler on for the time being will sound good, and believe it or not, make a noticeable seat-of-the-pants difference in feel. It is an easy and direct bolt in. The stock V6 muffler is very restrictive. If you do this, you'll notice that the V6 muffler has a 3rd mound that the GT one doesn't...don't sweat it, it's not needed.
I hope this is of some help to you.
Edit: when you switch to dual exhaust, consider using this...MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles It is not the cheapest option, but it is good quality, complete, and makes the conversion a snap. All you will need is an OEM over axle pipe, and the mounts/bolts for the left side muffler.

You did ok on that stuff. As I said above, I'm not 100% sure on the differences from coupe to 'vert, but I'm fairly certain you can use those shocks and struts. You may need the caps/mounts for the swaybar as well...I can't remember for sure if they were different from the V6 bar to the GT one, but i think so. Also, check to see if you have a rear swaybar...I know the base V6 coupes didn't get one, but the pony package ones did. If you don't have one, you'll want to with that big bar on the front. Adding one from a GT to the back of mine made a huge difference in the handling and ride.
