I have been told a lot of different stores.
But according to the Hi-Way traffic act.
Fog lights must not be higher that the head lights. The U.S. fog lights centre is about 1/2" higher then the head lights.
Now that may or may not be the true reason.
I ordered my Mustang with a block heater, and I don't think that the power cord will go though the U.S. GT grill. I have rerun my block heater cord up by the air box.

Here are my photos of my mod'ed front end, with the new fog lights.
Photos are:
1: As I received my car from Ford.
2: Day time running lights.
3: Headlights and fog lights.
4: Just headlights.
Both the upper and lower grills are 2013 take offs from the States, as are the fog lights.
The lower cover are for the Canadian V6 with no fog lights.
I spent about $225.oo for all the parts. All parts are Ford OEM, except for the wiring kit for the LED fog lights.
