side cowelling install on a 66 coupe

Have read many posts and am wondering about info on correctly installing and plumbing of the side cowelling to cool rear breaks. Any info would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. Happy motoring!

just wondered if they were riveted, bolted, etc... Someone said youtube but no answers there. Hoping to do this right, but at this point on is better than off! Will wait a few days more and if I am successful with correct answer I will post as this may help others here. Happy motoring!

I'm guessing you don't have the Haynes manual kicking around. I checked my stash. I've got wiring diagrams for your car - but nothing on the side cowelling.

Yes we have the Haynes manual(36048) Ford Mustang 1964 1/2 thru 1973 V8 Engines repair manual and first thing I did was smile as the manual is a third the thickness of the other manuals I have. So simple but nothing on rear brake cooling or cowels? I would really like to do this better than Mickey Mouse as I have a serious love affair with this car and want it right! First time, of all the vehicles I've had and worked on, this car hit the emotional funny bone on both my lady and myself.

All is well! As we were unable to find info we have decided to place the side scoupes on the car with a steel to fiberglass adhesive and not have them functional as brake coolers, but would like to have them functional at some point. We will post pics as we go! Happy motoring.
