1965 and a 2009

Seen this 65 parked on the side of the road and I just had to get a picture of it with my 09.

He didn't have far to go to get the camera, lol.

That one dropped right in your lap Doug. Nice pic.

Yes it did, I came around the corner in my truck and seen that. I went home. Which is just a hop, skip and a jump from where the 65 was parked. As you already know. Grabbed my camera, jumped into my 09 and just drove down the street to park beside it. I even waited for the owner to come out to ask if it was alright if I took some pictures. We talked for about a half hour about our Mustangs. He lives in the neighbourhood and has owned it for the last 15 years. He only drives it on nice days.

Kudos to him for keeping the six under the hood. One of the many dream projects floating round in my head involves a '65 or '66 Mustang with an Australian 4.0 turbo inline six under the hood.

Class act to wait for the dude to ask permission to take pics with his car, that kind of courtesy is sadly missing from a lot of people these days. Good on yah.

Ahh.. thanks , but you have to thank my late parents for that. I grew up in a time where if you didn’t use your manners. You got that kuff up the back of the head. Maybe that’s why the back of my head has a dent in it.
