94 or 91 for 4.6 supercharged Gt?
I keep hearing shells 91 “v-power” Delivers the same performance as 94 octane and some mechanics say it’s better than 94 octane. My 2003 Gt is tuned for 94 octane. What decrease in performance am I looking at if I tune it for 91? Currently sitting at 412hp with v2 supercharger.

You "hear" "some" people say lots of things, doesn't mean its gospel. I could say Minutemaid Orange juice in your tank will give you a quarter second gain on the drag strip, if you hear me.
Why take chances? If I was tuned for 94, I'd run 94, how much will you really save running 91 over possible engine damage due to running a lower octane ?
Why spend all that money to get the horsepower gains with forced induction and then have a decrease in performance due to lower octane?
My $.02, I'm not a mechanic or a tuner, but there's some obvious things to be said, and a couple of contradictions.

I would agree, you have to believe 94 is better than 91.
From what I understand its an additive that is added to the base fuel.
Each company makes its own additive. Is Shelll's better than
the next companies? each to their own at that point.

Thanks guys. I only have one option here in Vancouver, BC. Which is Chevron, and I use 94 octane there. What are some reputable gas companies in and around Blaine, Washington? Is 92 octane the highest in Washington? The apps I use for gas only find up to premium In the states.

I'm a bit of a drive from Blaine Washington, no idea, and as far a reputable gas companies, I think any of the major brands are solid, don't know if they have 94 though.
I stick to Canadian gas, had some bad tanks from the US in the past, don't run it unless I'm travelling south of the border, which doesn't happen anymore.....I'll stay safely north thanks. lol
