I can't believe how dirty the floor is in that car. Well actually I can based on its condition but still. Doesn't even look like there is carpet there.

Sonic Blue was a 2005 only colour. I think Kona Blue came along for '10 or '11. both nice colours, and both have a hint of purple in the right light.

That was my thought exactly, but it wasn't an automatic. Had it been, there is a very high probability that it would been sitting in my garage right now. And it's only a hop, skip and a jump from here. :)

I'm still kind of tempted myself...I like my blown V6, but if I considered a swap, there is no way I could put everything needed together for $3500. With 160 Ks on an obviously neglected car, it wouldn't be worth fixing up, but as a donor, that's not bad.

I understand where your coming from. For you it is a perfect match the year, body style all parts will fit. For me not so much. It probably could be picked up for $3000.00 if you were serious and had cash in hand. He said "Looking for $3500 as is. Please serious inquires only. Lowballers will be ignored!!" As the saying goes " Cash talks, BS walks " But with the KMS on it a total rebuild would be in order, sending the cost way up. For the budget minded this would turn into a long term project. Then there's finding a place to keep it until all the parts have been exhausted and it's ready for the scrap heap. From that point is it worth it? But than again they aren't making 05 GT's anymore either.

Nothing like playing the devil's advocate here.

I still say if you were thinking re-build, there's probably more wrong than meets the eye, and if this hill-jack put his car in the ditch, who knows what kind of abuse the engine, transmission and rear end took? Looking at the interior, upkeep was not a high priority, and I'd be checking the rear wheel wells for shredded rubber linings, and a distinct odour of burnt rubber. lol I can sympathize with the dude on the lowballed thing, there's a lot of cheap baztards out there that just want you to give them your shite for nothing, and then suddenly it's worth big bucks and they really pulled one over on you. Think I'm joking? Have a Garage Sale someday and see what comes crawling out from under the rocks. lol
