Hey, the interior is mint too, what a bargain at $3500. Check out the roll of duct tape on the hood of that Fox body, must be the home of Redneck Auto Repair.
Branded salvage but frame doesn't look to be bent. https://www.cmoc.ca/attachment.php?a...ine=1419072068 |

Think this one is beyond Dent Kings expertise.

If I was thinking about doing a V8 swap, that would be a pretty sweet deal...everything needed in one place. Shame about the car itself. That looks like Sonic Blue...a pretty rare colour on the S197 cars.

That's the colour of my car the build sheet says Kona blue metallic and I haven't seen many it's colour.

I can't believe how dirty the floor is in that car. Well actually I can based on its condition but still. Doesn't even look like there is carpet there.

That was my thought exactly, but it wasn't an automatic. Had it been, there is a very high probability that it would been sitting in my garage right now. And it's only a hop, skip and a jump from here. :)
I'm still kind of tempted myself...I like my blown V6, but if I considered a swap, there is no way I could put everything needed together for $3500. With 160 Ks on an obviously neglected car, it wouldn't be worth fixing up, but as a donor, that's not bad. |

Nothing like playing the devil's advocate here. https://www.cmoc.ca/attachment.php?a...ine=1419254977 |
I still say if you were thinking re-build, there's probably more wrong than meets the eye, and if this hill-jack put his car in the ditch, who knows what kind of abuse the engine, transmission and rear end took? Looking at the interior, upkeep was not a high priority, and I'd be checking the rear wheel wells for shredded rubber linings, and a distinct odour of burnt rubber. lol I can sympathize with the dude on the lowballed thing, there's a lot of cheap baztards out there that just want you to give them your shite for nothing, and then suddenly it's worth big bucks and they really pulled one over on you. Think I'm joking? Have a Garage Sale someday and see what comes crawling out from under the rocks. lol
