final stance
had to move the car outside for the day to take on a wood work project in the garage. so i thought i'd grab a couple pics of the finished stance.
just to recap, 94 spindles with new wheel bearings, new brakes, including oem fitment cross drilled and slotted rotors, new calipers and pads, new 94 balljoints, 1" drop eibach pro kit, energy suspension spring isolators, 18" saleen rims with 245/40/18's on all corners, 9" wide +24 offset, new oem gt kyb shocks and struts, 1" hub centric/wheelcentric spacers in rear. also put in an electric fan with adjustable stat, balancing my temps right at the half way point on the stock gauge.
it came to me with stock height and one broken spring, blown shock, blown strut, lincoln 5 lug rotors, worn out ball joints, and a totally rust free undercarriage. that last bit has made this fun. no rust anywhere has been a real treat i must say. every bolt just walks out. i had to do some removal of alarm parts under the dash, took the seat out. first time i ever unbolted a seat that easy. so i did the other, and shampoo'd the whole carpet. lol.
was a fun project. now with a bit of interior work to do, replace a couple broken things, and rewire the stereo, all that leaves is paint later this year due to checking. and i need a name for it. my gt/cs was the "red headed stepchild".
anyways, here she be:
