Snake if you enjoyed your Flowmaster series 40's, you need to try the new American Thunder Axle back exhaust from Flowmaster. I met a fella passing through town with a grabber blue/red stripes GT500, and it sounded incredible! I stalked him all the way to the Shell station, and asked him if the exhaust was stock, and he said that he pulled the stock exhaust off as soon as he got the car, and put on the American Thunder exhaust kit. They make for the 5.0 and 5.4, and so far I cant find an application for the 4.6, but I'm sure the mufflers would be just fine on my 4.6.....Anyhow, I was mostly impressed with how the car sounded at low RPM's, kinda reminded me of a lion on the prowl, just waiting to pounce on its prey. Hey Dub that's exactly what I had on my 05gt and I will say it's the best sound to my ears yet. I will check out the 500 system and probably install it next spring. This year is almost over for me. After holidays I will have approx 6 weeks before it's time to put her away. Thanks for the heads up, I really appreciate it.
