We got our first 2014 and it looks fantastic. The updated grille looks much better and this one has the new Black Appearance Package which looks good too.

Pretty slick looking car. Love that green!

milner_7 02-21-2013 05:45 PM

Nice but those hood vents and rear louvers need to be black IMO

Ronnie06GT 02-21-2013 06:14 PM

I do like the new grill, but, even though I'm a Legend Limer, I still can't get my head around GHIG color.

1low03gt 02-21-2013 07:57 PM

....but the fog lights are still in the grille!!:bleh:
Like the blacked out spoiler!! Not sure on the mirrors though.

DublDee 02-21-2013 11:07 PM

Wow Thank God they put the fog lights back in the grille! So obviously a '14 grille will fit in the '13 right?

I'm assuming it should, the bumper looks the same

I'm not a huge fan of the lights in the grille but its a hell of a lot better than the 13 grille.

VAEM 02-23-2013 06:56 PM

I think it looks fantastic. A DEF upgrade.

I understand that, reason i would do a C/S grille, or even the Boss 302 Grille. No offense to anyone who likes the fog light set up in the grille, but this is one thing have not liked starting with the 2005's. In my opinion, Ford made a booboo with that part of the design.

milner_7 02-23-2013 08:04 PM

C/S Grille:tup but hey I am bias toward them

I don't disagree, that's why I chose the Roush grille over one with lights

Red Pony 02-24-2013 10:21 AM

Looks great and I'm a fan of the lights in the grill. With the black spoiler I agree with milner that the window louvers and hood louvers should also be black. And I'd also black-out the trim around the grill. But this is one of the reasons so many of us love these Mustangs...we can all personalize them with the mods we like best.

JJ2003vert 02-24-2013 06:58 PM

I personally like the car as is and you know that anyone that buys one of these will make it their own with new addons, I really like the fogs in the grille as you can tell that it's a stang from a long way off!!!!!!!

Just my opinion JJ

nkellybrown 02-26-2013 06:32 AM

fogs should be functional ie. lower/close to the ground

I actually like them in the Grille as well, but having said that, I may be changing my grille to either a Roush or CS style this summer.

def67 02-26-2013 07:44 AM

I like them in the grille but dont like them in the grill when they are in the middle like the elanor 05-09 clones.

nkellybrown 02-26-2013 08:14 PM

Anyone have any experience using 'black out' film on tailites, etc,? I am going to check around on the possibility of using that to see if that would 'dumb down' the big fog in grill look.....

I used tint film on my marker lights and 3rd brake light and was happy with the result.

GregsGT 02-27-2013 06:50 AM

I like the fogs where they are on my 13 and if you don't GFY and keep your opinion to yourself. No matter where they are lets not put down ours stangs and bash the ugly ass chevy.

DublDee 02-27-2013 07:14 AM

Woah, Easy there bud, no one is bashing anything, they're simply expressing their opinions. Everybody has different tastes, and thank God for that, or we would all be driving the same thing, and that would be boring!

def67 02-27-2013 07:18 AM

^ I'll props that!

X2, I'm quite certain that some people don't like what I've done to my car and I don't really care. It's mine and I'll do what I choose.

herbz 02-27-2013 01:18 PM

I personally like the fogs in the grille, I find it looks too plain without them there with the stock grille. Here's a question, does Ford actually call them Fog lights? In reality they are a driving light not fog light mounted at that height.

Ford does call them driving lights
