Do you have a picture of what it looks like? I tend to try and get the whole car in and take pictures from different angles. Maybe the fog light covers would show up better if I did it your way. A one step lesson on what your talking about would be a great help. Thanks.

Np. It basically means getting down on one knee to get the shot.
You can then move in or out or more to the front of the car to capture it from different angles.
B & W (almost 3/4 shot)
Same pic but in colour:
Another example but in closer:

You can also use the angle to produce a reflection of the sun off your car.
By moving along the length and changing the angle you can move the suns reflection along the car body to where you want it to reflect, or not at all.
Moving the reflection backwards a bit:
And now almost removing it altogether:
With digital cameras it's just trial and error, but the developing is cheap...

Some great shots there. I get what your talking about now. I had forgot my camera in my buddies cargo trailer on Saturday and went back and got it on Sunday. (40 minute drive) I made it into a Sunday drive for the wife and I. We came across that spot and I thought what a great place for a picture. I turned around and went back for some pictures. These shots were taken just south of Campbellford, Ontario off Hwy 30 on the Meyers Island Rd along side part of the Trent River.
