Hood pins!!

Just like the title states.....Hood pins.
Got the Ford Racing hood pin kit. Not what i wanted to do, but i took the hint since three guys locally lost their cowl hoods into their windshields in the last few months. I don't mind them, but i've always like the clean look with the hood. Steeda does make a good quality hood with an excellent hood latch, reason why i never put them on in the first place, buuuuut safety first since i like to run the 1/4 mile, or take a cruise down the highway now, and then. These are not the best pics, but you get the idea. I'll try to get better shots soon. Took these tonight after giving the GT a wax down. https://www.cmoc.ca/attachment.php?a...ine=1313894317 https://www.cmoc.ca/attachment.php?a...ine=1313894317 |
I am with you on the clean thing but with your color it looks fine.
looking good !
You are right, the silver helps it blend in, doesn't really pop out, reason i guess i don't mind it. LOL!
to me it is important to color match so for me all black minus the lights, maybe next year
Isn't your GT500 all black already? How much blacker can you go??? :?
Looks good

That would look sweet! :tup
And thanks ChadStang.:) |
Sharp addition dude, you're right, with the silver they are a little more subtle looking. Nice. Snakebite, your car gets any blacker and we'll have to get you a cape and start calling you The Dark Knight!!!
I like it on your car actually....looks pretty cool/:tup
Can a fella buy black hood pins?

^^^seriously now, is it not a good idea Jay?
It's a really good idea. Could never be too safe really.:tup
You had me wondering. I would do it for looks as this car has never been north of 100k's seriously
I myself like the simple clean look, but for the '05 plus mustangs, the hood pins really look good on them. I would do it on the '05 plus without thinking twice really, but for the SN95's, and new edges, it's a hit, and miss with me for some reason........But yet i had them on my '85 GT, and loved the look.
My buddy with the Shelby GT has them and they look great. White car with aluminum look
I agree! :tup
Some people don't have the eye for mods clothing etc etc so to them I say "leave it alone please" tehehehe
You right on that one! Some have the vision to make a piece of art out of their rides, while others, like you can see accross the interweb, don't. LOL
or STOP already
x 2 on the clean look - but the hood looks cleanest on the car, not bouncing off your windshield!
