What kind of paint and primer did you use? I'm kind of interested in doing this myself.

Congrats on it running too!

Thanks guys! rockon:
I figured out my idle issue, and all is good.Got the coolant/water in her,and let her for 45 minutes, and what a tease it was.
As for paint,i used duplicolour primer, and Black engine enamal from Canadian tire,2 cans worth to get it to look glossy.thumb:

Sweet........
Glad its all done :)

How much did you lower your car?

1low03gt 01-11-2008 11:21 PM

Thank you. :)
She is lowered with the Eibach Sportlines,so roughly 2".But maybe lower in the front, cause i just raised her up about 1/4 inch to get her off the ground this past summer.Got tired of banging up my h pipe, and scrapping my chin spoiler up certain slanted drive ways. wall:

Did you have to do CC plates or anything else to accommodate the drop?

Oh yeah,no way around it at all.I also switched out the front struts to fox body struts. When lower a SN95/new edge mustang, the stock struts have longer shafts and will bottom out in the strut cylinder when lowered, which was happenning to me,and in the end, they will get damaged. With the fox body strut you will regain that strut travel cause there shafts are shorter.thumb:
