HaHaha, Yeah I think my family would have me checked out by a head doctor if that happened. :D

Wife wouldn't let you get the Boss huh? Too bad.

Everyone has an opinion but at the end of the day your opinion is the only one that matters. If you feel it's the right one then it is.
If you're a car collector and treat it as an investment then get the Boss, never drive it and sell it years down the road but I don't think you are. As for me? I traded my '05 hard top in for my current '08 vert. So in my case there was a functional aspect to the trade in. It's also fully loaded and when I made the deal it was the same price as I paid for the '05 - just had to pay for the depreciation of three years. I've had opportunities to trade this one in but I'm keeping it. I've got some mods in it now making it unique for me (i.e. Number 1 of 1) so I agree with your decision to keep it. Make it "yours". You can do quite a bit with thirteen grand! |
oops I am late and agree with AP, I always try and get a top dog of whatever I am buying

Lets face it, the manufacturers use these "Special, Limited, Numbered Edition" cars as a gimmick for those of us that lived through part of the muscle car era, or at least drove the original muscle cars, to entice us to purchase a car under the total misconception that these cars will be as collectable as the originals. Well sorry to break it to you all, but those days are over and they're never coming back. :D

Me Make up my mind? Never! Just kidding, I did make up my mind, and that's the final analysis I came up with. So for the next year or so I'll happily drive the GT, and then be on the lookout for '13 or newer GT500....Hopefully in GB. :P
