Like the 8 ball, but if you don't have a Boss 302, why put a Boss 302 branded part in a regular GT ? It's kind of like putting a unicorn horn on a horse. It looks great, but to some people, it doesn't look right. Your ride bro, go with it, love the techno beats.

Very good point man. Here is the thing why I put boss 302 shift **** on a GT. First of all boss and GT both have 302 engines in them, Secondly I got a plate saying Race 302. Thats why I wanted a shift **** with 302. There was no option to change/edit BOSS. Beside that its a GT California Special edition means boss 302 and GT/CS share some body mods as well for example front chin spoiler and etc. I would not put a shelby's symbol on my GT coz thts a totally diff vehicle. But boss is just tweaked version of GT. Beside that color matches my car so it looks awesome. :p as you said why put a boss branded part if its not a boss. Let me ask why people put Roush parts when they have regular mustang not A Roush stage 1, 2 or 3.

Yes the boss and the GT have 302s in them,so does and F150. That is were the similarity between the motors end. A GT does not have a Boss motor there is 900 RPM difference to start. It really is no different than Putting a Snake on your GT. Yes the boss is a tweaked GT and so is the Shelby GT500 just a little more tweaked. Your GT is not a boss or a snake; like the old saying goes "no matter how much lipstick you put on it is still a pig". Be proud of what you own and step up to the bigger models when you can. I drove a Mustang GT for years and still regret letting it go (maybe find it one day and buy it back) it was a hell of a car.
I wanted something different and unique for my shifter so I had one custom made by Koolknobs Custom Shifter ***** | Home. I ordered a lapel pin from CJpony and sent it to Kool *****.
