Mine hasn't seen registration since Oct/02 (makes me sad), because of going back to school, loan payments, etc. However next year it'll be out (I said that about this year, but hey, happens I guess).

Anyway, on with the important stuff:

It's an '83 GT with short of 170,000 original KM on her when she was parked at the end of Sept/02. (Click on my banner below to get to the website)

Mods so far only include:
- Hedman E/L shorties (Jet-Hot coated)
- 2.5" true dual exhaust
- FRPP "double-hump" tranny Xmember.
- Dynomax UltraFlow (aka: "welded") mufflers
- FRPP polished aluminum valve covers
- "Turbine" wheels
- Full aftermaket stereo
- ... and a few other little odds and ends.

Over the spring and summer though, I've started to get a decent pile of parts for the car though, so when it comes time to strap them all on, she'll be a different animal all-together:
- MM full-length subframes
- Steeda 4500 series aluminum LCAs
- 100% rebuilt '87 Mustang 8.8 rear axle AND traction-lok differential
- FRPP 3.73s
- FRPP chrome diff cover (not a performance mod, but it is shiny :D)
- Energy Suspension upper control arm bushings
- Energy Suspension front and rear spring isolators
- Koni Special (aka: "red") adjustible struts and shocks
- '88 Mustang GT spindles
- When I do the axle swap, I'll be taking out the upper control arms and boxing them.

I still have to buy a set of H&R Super Sport springs over the winter, and I'd like a new Edelbrock Performer 600cfm carb as well, but that may have to wait till spring or summer.

Now, on with the pics:
This pic is old but is by far my favorite that's been taken, and shows the rims that came with the car when I bought it in 2001, but I never really liked the look, so I sold them.

Really like Steve's (Silent Noise) car, the 83-84 is one of my fav's...love the grille. It looks much better with the turbines too, they really suit that car.

Thanks man. I like the look of the car with the turbines as well..... just seems to match the lines of the car a little more than a rounder design.

As for the grill.... that's the one thing that I've never been SUPER keen on - I've always kind of been on the fence about it (my favorite part is the reverse factory hood scoop). You can't see much in the pics, but once I can do some bodywork and repaint the whole thing eventually, the new paint will give it a much better look.

Mrs. SCNISTER 10-29-2004 01:18 AM

You guys have some beautiful cars!

I've always had a "thing" for the 89-93 Mustangs and hopefully one day, if I can sneak it past the wife, I'll get one in the garage :D

For $21 a case I thought it was worth a try. It's not bad !
If you look closely at the pic you'll notice that those are actually Coors Light bottles sticking out of the case. Beside that case is a small case of Bud. Also, inside the the big case, which you can't see, is Moosehead.
It's a mixed bag of everything.
