Took a swing by my SVT Dealer (Boss)

Took a swing by my SVT Dealer today to take a look at the New Boss Laguna Seca edition, wow what a nice car, took a couple of pictures my pal (salesman) wanted me to trade my Shelby, but Black being so hard to keep clean no rear seat and no convertible option I respectfully declined Someone is gonna get a very nice car if they pull the trigger on this edition!

I like it except for the rims. Ever since they released it I've had trouble liking them.

What's the price on it? I think the regular Boss 302's go for something like $50k plus taxes.

I'll bet they won't let it go for 59K though.

Aren't there consumer laws against jacking up the price? I could see if it was a used car, but the dealership thing confuses me all to hell.

LOL the laws of supply and demand are the only ones that apply..
I have all the paperwork on my 08 Shelby, even the dealer invoices and sales paper.
The original price really blew me away! When I went to the dealer to transfer over the warranty, I asked about a miscellaneous $6000 charge I couldn't figure out.. The salesman said it was a dealer markup, WoW! Essentially the dealer could charge what they wanted!
Here's the breakdown of my 08 convertible Shelby
MSRP $61,543
miscellaneous 6000
Admin fee 395
protection 1194
sale price $69132
hst 8987
licence fee 180
Total 78,299
3 years later I bought the car with 8000kms on the clock for 36k

Most of the ones I've seen have asking prices over 70k. If it's $59,000 I'll take it.
