Thats a pretty good price, US dealers are adding $5 to $10k on top of that, pure scam.

Where is this one is my question, I bet its spoken for.

Ohtobbad 02-02-2016 03:56 PM

getting one in Canada is still at MSRP. I think most could still get if they want.
Some dealers only ordered 5 plus an R.
My dealer ordered 15 ( the max) plus the R
they have about 5 or 6 left to come, not all spoken for yet.

I believe it is just down the road from me. That is where the web page says it is.

Benton Fry Ford Sales
321 Front Street North
Belleville, ON, K8P3C6

I better win the lottery this week. :D

Apocalypse Pony 02-02-2016 04:50 PM

Actually, that is a great price, Tech Pack is listed as an $8100 option, go to ford.ca Build & Price and its listed as $9400.

Just down the road? Time for a field trip with a camera. lol Its even the right colour - Shadow Black.

Apocalypse Pony 02-02-2016 05:24 PM

Before anyone else can say it....I'm a dummy. I'm not even going to edit my previous post, I'll 'fess up.

Noticed the cloth Recaros in the listing and realized.....this is a TRACK PACK car, not a Tech Pack car DUMMY, hence the $8100 vs $9400. Then again, the Track Pack has the $3000 rear spoiler on it. lol

Side note, I'll bet it isn't sitting at your local dealer AN, doesn't mean the car is there, thats just the closest dealer to the postal code you entered.

Tlavalle 02-02-2016 07:13 PM

There is a Competition Orange with Tech Pack, stripe and car cover at Barrie Ford Ontario as of yesterday. First CO I've seen and looks good. Think black or red is the color I would go for.

Tlavalle 02-02-2016 07:16 PM

The one at Barrie Ford shows on the web site for $80,324, therefore I assume they want $5,000 ADM.

roddy 02-02-2016 07:23 PM

Fry's is an odd place. They often show stuff they don't have, yet I've seen cars there that I was very surprised to see at a small town dealer, like that beautiful Heritage Edition (Gulf colours) Ford GT they had when the cars were new.

ADM is bullshit, sad to see Canadian dealers being that greedy, no point in EVER buying anything from Barrie Ford in the future if thats the case.

MSRP or nothing!

milner_7 02-03-2016 07:02 AM

They are nice but I will stick with my 500

IMO two totally different cars, both very cool in their own way.
I also believe the new GT500 is going to be an amazing car.
Many of the features of the 350 with far more HP.
Great time to be a Mustang fan, no matter your choice :)

Rumor has it the 2017 GT500 may be a 5.0L Twin Turbo "EcoBeast". Sounds like fun, in a straight line.

Ohtobbad 02-03-2016 09:48 AM

Another rumour is 5.2 coyote with either twin turbo or SC.
Ahh funny to guess and listen to all the rumours.

herbz 02-03-2016 02:49 PM

People have wanted a 5.0 Ecoboost since the intro of the Ecoboost engines. That's first photo proof I've ever seen of a turbo Ford V8.

Not sure why they stopped with the GT500 in 15 and 16. I don't see why the 5.8 wasn't a worthy motor with its 662hp.

More than worthy, but they knew it was time for a change.
Keep in mind "cafe" rules taking bigger effects by 2018.
big penalties for car companies that don't comply.
Why eco-boost has become such a big deal.
its why they put a V-6 in the Ford GT and the Raptor.
We are getting closer every year to seeing less and less V-8's
maybe someday non existent

You could drop dead tomorrow, if you can pull it off, go for it and enjoy it, six months down the road the payments will just be part of the routine.

Some of us still have a mortgage, but it's not stopping me from trying. lol

I sir, am one of those people who are jelly as the kids would say. Congrats and post pics!! :tup

Ohtobbad 02-10-2016 05:38 AM

Congrats on the new car, you truly will love it.
Exhaust has two modes, one is quite sane, other not so much.
So neighbours, really depends on how much you like them
as to what you use when driving down the street LOL

puroman60 02-10-2016 08:32 PM

I know the feeling, I swear I am going to go through a tank of gas before
I get it out in the spring, I start it 4-5 times a week just to hear it.
On back of my garage, I have a small shop for my work, it has a door to garage,
every time I go into get something it takes me 5 minutes longer because I stop to stare at the car:D Ok maybe I have some issues :chacha:

puroman60 02-14-2016 08:17 PM

Well boys and girls got he 350 yesterday no pictures yet and oh wow it's was crappy weather in Vancouver yesterday rain and all so really it was in rain and snow setting but the noise it makes I needed a smoke afterwards. As for MSRP I paid a bit over but hell its a Shelby and if I didn't want to pay somebody else would have.I had a13 5.0 the ride is substantially better it's more controlled not so bucking horse so to speak even my better half fell asleep on the road coming home and she never does that.So it's dib with white stripes and the comes with the tech package which is what I wanted price was 79,000 with taxes yeah expensive but I've lusted for this car and I only needed one kidney anyways lol

Apocalypse Pony 02-15-2016 05:33 AM

$79k with taxes included is not that bad a price, relatively speaking, thats actually slightly under MSRP for a Tech Pack by my math. Congrats again, and yes, pics are a must !!

Ohtobbad 02-15-2016 06:47 AM

Congrats on the car, now we need pics :)

puroman60 02-15-2016 11:08 PM

I have to say the GT350 is a sweet machine, I love the look and the performance it brings. Those who are lucky enough to get one will be very proud I'm sure

puroman60 02-21-2016 11:33 PM

I've just had a chance to take the new car on a short weekend jaunt to Vancouver and back in decent weather so into sport mode for the first time and I must say what a difference in handling and throttle response.Hwy 101 to Vancouver is a twisty little mother of a road and I have never had so much fun driving a car as with this 350.The handling is so sharp and accurate and lord hav mentioned the noise, there is nothing that sounds like this 5.2 when it's working up a sweat and I still haven't gone past 5 grand yet.People actually pulled over to let me pass and that NEVER happens is it the car the noise I don't know but I like it.There is one huge issue in owning this car and that's keeping my License intact it's a challenge to keep to the speed limit this engine just encourages bad behaviour and I drive for a living I need my license yikes

Apocalypse Pony 02-22-2016 03:11 AM

Sounds awesome :D , can't wait to hear it first hand. I've heard other owners, and our own lucky bastard R owner ohtobbad say the youtube videos are good, but nothing like hearing it in person.

Ohtobbad 02-22-2016 05:44 AM

Hey I resemble that remark :)
I did get to drive one, but not mine yet.
After all the rain here, I did take it out in the drive way.
So about 50 ft LOL, turned it around. Now on blocks.
Cleaning the bottom. Another 6-8 weeks here.
We are having very warm Feb. if this continues, might be earliest
I ever got my car out. ( Last week of March)

1low03gt 02-25-2016 08:29 PM

I'm a little late to the game, but I think they are hot! I don't want to spend the money on one, but I wouldn't refuse one if it were handed to me!! :D

Tlavalle 02-27-2016 02:26 PM

I was talking with the SVT Dealer in Sudbury Onatario, Cambrian Ford. They have allocations left and told me they are selling at MSRP if anyone is interested. I'm going to wait for 2017, as there is some chatter on other forums that Ford is going to offer some options outside of the Tech Pak and Track Pak. For example, should be able to order a GT350 with Magna Ride, Recaros, larger spoiler and navigation as individual options. Again just what I have read on other forums.

Apocalypse Pony 02-27-2016 08:02 PM

Track Pack spoiler is standard right across the board for 2017. Theres always going to be something better down the road, doesn't matter how long you wait, soon as you pull the trigger there will be bigger and better the next model year. I'd say do it now, why wait. lol
