zainod the stang again - more pics

Well I had today off work so I decided to wax the car. I started by washing it at 3:30pm and wasnt all done till about 8pm

washed it, meguires claybared it with meguires detailer and then put on a coat of z-1 and z-2 and it feels smoother than glass now and shiney as hell. Here are a bunch of pics (not the greatest cuz the car was in the shade)

Looks good, but....

Did you ever prep your car properly for it or do you just keep caking on Zaino?

Im not sure what you mean by prepping it properly but what I did before the first wax coat is I washed the car with liquid dawn and put on a coat of z1 and z2 and like i said in my first post, I claybared the car before I put on this coat of zaino. Its about my 6th-7th or so coat of zaino since I had it (3rd claybar job) so I wouldnt exactly call it "caking it on"

edit

also z1 is a pre cleaner/prime wax which does in a way how you say it "prep" and help the z2 last alot longer. The z2 goes right ontop of the z1. The z2 is a show polish.

and of course you know what the claybar is all about.

If the car doesnt need prep and is swirl free you can cake whatever products you want on it (Mind you keep it swirl free!). Applying Zaino or any other sealant to a swirled/scratched surface will do nothing.
