That's what I love about the Mustang. It's always stayed true to it's roots, and hasn't skipped a beat. The other pony car makers can't say the same!

Unless you include the Mustang II, but I know most Mustang guys pretend that never happened.

Mustang never stopped production like the chev camero.

^^^ x 2. Mustang II was a product of the times - but YES, still a 2 door and still in production.

When I still lived in NFO I knew this guy that had a 77 Mustang II with a 302 4 sp it was done up a bit and she went good

When I was about 18 me and some friends were at a party, and we stayed the night in a tent, and the next day we just kinda hung around the farm yard most of the day, and the kid that had the party took us out to where his dad had some old vehicles. He pointed out a 1965 Mustang station wagon....Yeah that's right a station wagon. His dad was apparently a body guy, and decided to customize a Mustang. I thought back then it was ugly, and now thinking back I can't believe he did that to a 65 Mustang. What a waste.
