2016 Mustang GT 350R

Funny the first S550 I drove was a rented V-6 Vert.
I will say its quick and the car drives amazing. Handles better than any previous Mustang I have owned. I personally like the look of the new plat form.
The GT500 is such a different animal than the new GT350.
One is HP beast, one is a corner carver.
Really depends on what you want out of a car.
to me they are both wicked

I am happy with what I have, straight line or corners after all it was made for both

I think all Mustangs are special and do serve different purposes. That was not a slight against the new gen Stang just a preference on looks. Performance wise I know the new GT performs.

That 350 sure looks nice. The shine is amazing. Ford has gone over the top with the 350 and 350R. Them more I see them the more I think about trading my 500 in on one. That wont happen though as I love my 13 but maybe some day I will own both.
Still not a big fan of the new GT although I do want to drive one

Took me a couple years to like the S197 also, and now love the 2013/14, of course cause I have one.

Jury still out for me on the new style of the S550 Mustang also. Performance wise, it's a beast for the money, but looks too much like a Ford Fusion from the front. Do like the side profile though, as it has the fastback look. Rear looks good also.

that car is a beast in its own right.
I had an 08 GT/CS I loved it and will miss it.
But I suspect I will get over it quickly once
the new 350 shows up

I like the front of a GT350, not so much the GT. Especially a black one. For some reason l always need a couple years to get use to a new design. I know I will want an S550 soon, and if the price is right, it will be a 350. Just my lame opinion. That's how I got my Boss, 8 months old, 8000 km, $20K under MSRP. Waiting for a used 350, low Kms and a low price.

I don't know how you can be so patient, although I bought my Shelby in Jan last year and waited until April to pick her up. It sucks waiting
Part of me wishes I waited for the new GT350 but I wanted a 13/14 GT500 so bad and knew there were not may around these parts.

A very good friend of mine has 2014 White with Black Stripe GT500 and he will not trade it for anything. I thought the Boss had straight line speed, but I cannot believe the power of the 5.8L Super charged power plant. I don't have the disposable income to buy new, so I have to wait and find a deal in the used market a year or two down the road, but I always have a Mustang in the fleet.

The original build date was Oct.. It moved 5 times, once even backwards.
My last 3 of Vin are 307, a friend in SC has 319.
( they are not building them in sequence) Mine was built Nov. 24th,
his was due to be built the 25th and got moved out to march.
Mine then sat 2 weeks, finally went to rail yard, sat their 2 weeks.
Delivery due Dec. 13 to 19th. Didn't show up, so they checked
it was sent back to plant, last week finally found out it is in final
inspection AGAIN :bang head: Not sure when it will be shipped or whats next.
Hopefully find out something this week. To top it off, the reason they stopped
building R's the end of Nov. is the sport cup 2 tires have been known to crack
in really cold weather, so something I will have to check closely.
I won't drive it in winter anyway, but I want it so I can sit and drool on it
until spring

That whole thing with the Sport Cup 2 tires cracking in really cold weather strikes me as an urban myth or forum click bait. Does that mean that every single car that has those tires, and is put away for storage in the winter, will need new tires every spring because the cold caused them to crack? At $500+ per tire, dropping $2500 every spring will get old really fast. Then again, the R probably led need new tires every year anyway, never mind the cracking in the cold. lol

Last year. You would not want to run these in the cold, they would not be fun,
more like hockey pucks if they don't get some heat. I did read 25 F
which would be cold, not sure about others but I wouldn't run this car in the winter. Actually I seen a 2005 V-6 at starbucks yesterday and felt like
telling the guy to take it home wash it and put it away
Ya ya I know, just me. Hey its a Mustang
