At least you used clean language. Don't know if I would have. Wonder if there is going to be a recall already. Hopefully it gets resolved. Hopefully it's not one of those first year bugs that need to be worked out. I won't be able to get one until at least 2017.

Well, not much I can do about it and in reality if they have an issue, better
it dealt with before I get it. I was just dreaming of sitting in my garage drooling over it until spring

I'm not really sure what the big issue is with the delays, its not like its the first Mustang to roll off the line. But, I think you would want it recalled before it was delivered, big lunch bag letdown if it was sitting in front of you and there was something that needed to be fixed or addressed. Add to that, I don't know why these guys on the american forums are all frothing at the mouth to get it, all it takes is some patience, and if it doesn't come around this time, maybe it will in the future. I've never seen so many people get so worked up over something they have absolutely no control over. Suppose I put in an order eight weeks ago and was told the build date would be sometime in January/February....nothing to do but wait and see if the dealer holds true to their word. Theoretically of course. No amount of complaining about Ford or the dealers will get it here faster. Think of it as free storage over the winter, not like you can drive it anyway. lol

You are quirt correct, some get wound up and way over the top.
Some just take it as it comes. I was real excited last week as it was due to show up and yes a little bit of let down its not coming for awhile yet.
But as you said, I can't control that, it is what it is. Really as long as it is here
come spring, I will be very happy
Mean time, I sit and look at empty garage.
Sold my other Mustang 3 weeks ago.

Fearless New Years prediction, the green Christmas will give way to a green January, and you'll take delivery and be able to drive it home, cranking from 0 to 80 km/hr in first gear. lol Don't laugh, I saw them do that in the Motor Trend video. Holy crap. You'll forget everything about the GT/CS as soon as you sit your butt in the R and crank that flat plane 5.2. I said the exact same thing months ago, I stand by it.

You are correct again, I was fortunate and got an invite to Sebring.
Spend the morning going over car, then got to drive the R at Sebring.
Also instructor did a few hot laps, the cars is more than I could have imagined.
The video's don't do the sound justice. The wait is a killer, but as long as I have it
by spring, I will be happy camper

Oh brother, latest rantings now are about owners picking up their cars from the rail yard so that no one messes with them. These guys don't trust anyone, figure anyone who works at the dealership is out to beat their ride senseless. I know there have been instances where some dealers employees have abused new vehicles, but the level of paranoia and distrust in some of those threads borders on psychotic. LMFAO. Seriously, there are still good people out there and people that take pride in doing their jobs well, even if its down to the detail guy at the dealership. Not every one is out to screw your new car over, its not the first performance car with more than 500hp to come down the line. As well, these cars will not self destruct if they get filled with a tank full of regular gas, big deal, drive it, empty it and and re-fill it with 93, or dump a bottle of octane booster in. I love the way some of these guys have a list of demands, yes, I said demands, for the dealership. Yes, they should drop everything, out everyone on red alert just because a GT350 is coming in. The way these guys are talking, I'm surprised they're not sleeping outside the dealership with their shotgun to make sure no one messes with their ride before they take delivery. I'm not saying the points aren't valid, but like anything else, there are extremes.....like the guy that won't engage his blinker so it doesn't wear out , or lifts his *** up getting out so he doesn't wear out the bolsters in his seat. I just about pee'd myself when I read that one, thats over the top Rainman stuff. lol

Folks went through the same stuff when the GT500 came out.
Although, I have tracked this car more than any other car/truck
I have ever bought.. I have learned some things most of us are better off
NOT knowing. My dealer is about 10 minutes from me and I also pass Auto port
at least once a day with my work, so of course when I thought it was coming
I would slow down and take a look, watching how these guys work is scary.
Greasy coveralls, I watched one guy loading a train, 6 cars long, with ramps between
He had to be doing 50-60. The salted one morning, 5 to 10 times more than anywhere
Else I see.( I do this for a living) as for Dealer I have a good one, but you do hear of
some horror stories. The actually don't let employees take the cars for drives
( any cars) unless you bring it for service/ road test it. They have one guy trained on shelbys
He is a big car nut. For me this car is a big deal, I have never spent this much on a toy.
But all the folks at the dealer know that and without me saying much, already plan
to do some extras for me
