2018 MY Mustang rumoured changes

Build & Price is up on ford.ca for the 2018. Active Exhaust is a $1000 option, and the Magnaride Suspension is a $2000 option. Pretty good shopping list of goodies, considering horsepower numbers to go with it.
GT Performance Package goes for $3700, but theres a lot of bang for the buck:
The Ford Mustang GT Performance Package includes:
• 19” X 9” (F) 19” X 9.5” (R) Ebony Black-painted Aluminum Wheels
• 255/40R19 (F) 275/40R19 (R) Summer Only Tires*
• BremboŽ Six-Piston Front Brake Calipers with Larger Rotors
• “Engine Spun” Aluminum Instrument Panel
• Gauge Pack (Oil Pressure and Vacuum)
• Heavy-duty Front Springs
• K-Brace
• Larger Radiator
• Performance Rear Wing (Fastback only)
• Spoiler Delete (Convertible Only)
• Strut-tower Brace
• TORSENŽ Differential with 3.73 Axle Ratio (Manual)
• TORSENŽ Differential with 3.55 Axle Ratio (Automatic)
• Unique Chassis Tuning
• Unique Stability Control, EPAS and ABS Tuning
• Upsized Rear Sway Bar

Built a GT Premium w/ performance pack and recaros and surprisingly didn't faint when I saw the total price.
Interesting option of the 10 speed automatic. I see it in the trucks but I'm not sure on how it helps a car like a Mustang that much.

Interesting you can get leather Recaros in the GT, but not the GT350. Its an extra $2000, but even on top of everything else, it still prices out pretty good for what you get.

I built an 18 GT Coupe on line and came out at, $47k + $8700. in Options + $1850. in Fees + 13% HST = $67k
I damn here ! That's $13k over a loaded 17 that I built three weeks ago on the Ford.ca site. And yes I know the 18 has more technology, etc, but that's a huge delta. I seriously leaning towards a new 16 GT350 with nav at the local dealer for $63 + 13% HST = $71k.
I'm desperately hoping that someone on here can confirm that the build price for the 18's on the web is way off. Or I'll settle for the Shelby in a color I don't necessary want.
Cheers All.

If you're worrying about cost, the GT350 might not be for you, oil changes run $150 to $200, I don't even want to know what brakes and tires will run. lol
Don't even compare the GT pricing to GT350, its a totally different car, not apples to apples.
Or, maybe consider a 2017, I'm sure theres lots of those on lots, dealers will be discounting them to move them off the lots to make way for the 2018's.

Like to explore your comment "Don't even compare the GT pricing to GT350, its a totally different car". Are you suggesting that the 18 GT is better than the 17 GT350?
I get that there not the same product i.e. apples to apples, but if I can get a new 17 Shelby GT350 for the same price or less as an 18 GT would that not be the way to go? I'm not looking for a daily driver, simply a toy to have fun with on the street (no track, no mods). Oh, and I wouldn't consider a 17 GT, the 18's are so much nicer in so many ways.
Thx. Appreciate your input.

On the contrary, I believe the GT350 is better than the GT, you'd be further ahead, and much happier I'm sure, with the GT350.
Nothing says "pure joy" better than the sound of the 5.2L at 8000 rpm, and the torque surge as you hit 4000 or so rpm.......you'll never want a GT after hearing and feeling that.
Definitely go for the GT350 over an '18 GT.
