2019 Bullitt?
maybe so...
|
Nice, but the Bullitt's never did much for me, all personal choice I guess, its pretty much a GT appearance package. Love the minimal styling and the fact you can get Brembo's/Recaros as a factory option though.
Would you even notice the 15 hp bump from the 460hp GT to the 475hp Bullitt though? |

I'm jealous the 350R and the Bullitt have red calipers, they stand out nicer than the black ones on mine, but I'm not throwing down the cash to replace mine for the sake of a colour change. lol
I agree with the downplay on styling, plus the fact that you should be able to go into any Ford dealer and get one. |
Bullitt number 1 sold at Barrett Jackson for $300,000. It is a charity car.
|
Not my thing, This version is definitely miles better that the ones in the past. The red calipers do stand out but I am not jealous, I actually like the subtleness of the ones on our 350's

I’ve always thought the Bullitt cars were cool and the fact that there are 3 Gens now (4 if you want to count the original I suppose) the thought of collecting all of them is kind of intriguing. They definitely don’t see, to hold their value as many of the other SE cars so picking up a few used ones can be fairly inexpensive. I really like this new Gen but believe they could have done without the chrome trim on the grille and above the side windows.

I'm pretty sure the originals didn't have back up sensors either, but the one a t the car show isn't the production model . Hopefully we can order the bullitt in June for September delivery, it comes in black or green, production is 500 for all North America

500 for all North America? Typo? Even the GT350 was 500+ units to Canada per year, not to sound snobby, but I doubt the Bullitt will be lower numbers than that.
Had many inquiries at your dealership about the Bullitt ? |

Lets hope we don't have a salesman thats only here trying to flog his dealership. I suspect theres been a business or two in the past that were trying to advertise for free.
LED lights from Australia anyone? Anyway, yah, I could be convinced of 500 units for Canada, but I honestly think production will be higher. Be curious about pricing too, not sure I've heard any numbers yet. |

Ford will build as many as they can sell. Not a limited production model, like the Anniversary cars or the 2nd Gen Boss 302. |
I sort of had that impression too, I think I said previously, I think its basically a GT appearance package with the GT350 intake.
Should be able to walk into any dealer and order one, just like the regular GT. Maybe our token salesman from Fraser Ford will have some info for us. |

2019 bullitt
I recently took delivery of my 2019 from Jubilee Ford in Saskatoon where I was treated like a GOD !!!
Oh My, these guys are GREAT!!! They have a number of Shelby's in stock if your looking for a great deal. From the owner on down, everybody went out of their way to make the purchase and delivery of my new BULLITT a dream and soooooo easy to boot. MAN do I ever love this car !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ford has done a Fantastic job on the BULLITT. Drove it home to Vancouver. 2,000 kms and loved every second of it. After 1,000 kms I took it up over 230 km/h and it handles like a dream in every way. I like it way better thank my 2001 BULLITT, and my 2007 Saleen PJ Boss 302, and my son's 2012 Boss 302 and better than the 2017 Shelby GT350R that I had for a day last May. I would like more horsepower and plan to add on a Roush Stage ll Super charger after it hits 5,000 kms. What a great tribute to Steve McQueen and to the movie. Well done FORD !!! |
Let's see some pics!
|
Congrats and welcome, I'm biased, but I can't see the Bullitt being a better experience that a GT350R, but its all personal opinion. lol
I just saw my first new Bullitt yesterday actually. |
