5.0 Coyote Vs. 5.4 Condor

Sorry GT500 guys, but had to share this. That new 5.0 is an amazing engine. I am seriously thinking I will trade the 2010 on a 2012 this fall

I really don't think its fair to compare the 5.0 and 5.4, the amount of new technology Ford put into the new 5.0 makes it almost apples to oranges.

The above comparison is an over simplification as stated in the article. Fact is I am ok with my patry stock numbers as I drive it like it has 100hp

I have to disagree with you there. The 2011 Shelby GT500 has a totally re-designed 5.4, with an all new aluminum engine. This engine also had a huge amount of new technology put into it, so I believe it was a very true and accurate comparison. I am not taking anything away from the GT500, and trust me, I would love to own one myself, but this coyote engine is definately the better choice, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the 500 soon, as it is already in the GT350.

So I have to ask.....Why do you want loud exhaust if you drive it like it has 100 HP? Would you even hear the difference at an idle
