BFGoodrich/Hurst Mustang sells for $120,000
Another Ford Mustang sold for well over $100,000 at the recent Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson Auction. The ride, a 2010 Mustang convertible pace car, was built by Hurst Performance, in conjunction with Woodhouse Auto Family, and BFGoodrich. It sold for a cool $120,000.
The car, Lot#1238.1, featured a ROUSH Supercharged engine producing 435-horsepower and 400 lb.-ft of torque. Other goodies included 20-inch BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW tires, 20-inch Hurst wheels, and a Hurst Competition/Plus short-throw shifter with a gold anodized T-handle. It also came equipped with a Magnaflow stainless-steel exhaust, K&N Air Filter, Wilwood brakes, Hurst-tuned Eibach Suspension, coil-over adjustable shocks, springs and sway bar. To top it off, this Mustang paced the Mustang Challenge Series.
Best of all, one hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the newest Victory Junction Camp in Kansas City, KS, a year-round facility that serves children with chronic medical conditions and serious illnesses.
