Deals for 2012 mustang?
Hi everyone,
I tried looking around for a thread that lists existing deals for mustangs from dealerships but didn't see much information so figured I'd start a new one. Please let me know if this is repeat and I'll delete.
I'm lookin for a Stang Premium V6 w/ PP, so I priced it out on Ford.ca website:
This applies to GTA area (based on my research):
1) Dec 16th - 30th - 0% financing for up to 60 months on all Stangs except most basic trim and GT500
2) Dec 1st - Jan 31st - $1000 off for Costco members (does not apply to GT500/Boss)
3) $3500 delivery allowance (ford.ca website) - I entered Markham postal code and under "build and price" option I see $3500 discount for delivery allowance
4) Recycle your ride program - $1000 off for trading in 2005 or older vehicles.
5) local dealership discounts - $$?? Not sure what dealerships would offer in addition to this
Would this type of savings be realistic? Do all the incentives stack up? I'll likely end up selling my vehicle privately rather than trade in.

I think the numbers look right and generally buying any makers top notch model means no savings like above. Other vehicles that generally do not see savings are makers most popular model i.e. Jeep JK's etc

The $3500 delivery allowance is only available till dec 15 with an interest rate of 5.79%. Dec 16-30 will be 0% with no delivery allowance. Dec 31-Jan 3 is the same incentives as dec 1-15. Costco program and recycle your ride run the whole month. I know most of this is what you already wrote but the delivery allowances are not combinable with 0%. You might want to look at a 2013 as they have some really cool new features and the V6 model with the performance package handles great. I got to drive one in Detroit.

Thanks Snakebite & Chadstang for the heads up. It's unfortunate the $3500 delivery allowance isn't combinable with the 0% financing.
The rear taillights for the 2013's definitely look sharp. When will they be released in the Canadian market?
Lastly, you think the PP is worth it?

If you're getting a V6 you should get the PP, for $1000 it transforms the car.
I ordered my PP in late July and took delivery in late October. During that time a couple promotions came and went and I was allowed to choose the most advantageous one. I ended up going with employee pricing + costco promotion.
You will most likely have to order your car if you want a new PP, so you're probably best to wait for the 2013's which pre-orders begin very soon.
Alternatively you can find good deals on GT's sitting on lots, Erinwood has been trying to unload a red GT with the Brembo package for 3-4 month and has been priced as low as $32k (I almost cancelled my order and bought this but my wife hates red cars and I promised never to buy one, the sad part is I'm not lying).

The ordering process was slow and painful so if you have any questions fire away.
