Wow... im glad I got some attention, as this board needs a good shuffle.

All in all I greatly appreciate what Ford and the factory backed race technology has done, but when it comes down to it, I believe the general aftermarket is where my respect goes too.

The engineering and development in SVT products is respected by all (but you), and has created many spinoff performance divisions in competing car companies, trying to catch Ford. Too bad you never "fell for it", and now you'll never get the chance to have a new one, so you can be happy with your run of the mill 215hp GT, and will never feel the power of the brand you thoughtlessly dimiss as a "crock". You need to take a good look at an SVT vehicle before you make a statement like this, especially here.
Btw, the Ford of Australia reference was due to the fact that they sometimes produce decent performance cars there.
Ban...please give me break. And for what, shedding some light from someone who has driven evey high-end N/A American car, and then turned the title to what the Japanese have to offer. I have various reasons why I make statements, so Ill say what I want.

And as for what I have in terms of power dont mean nothing as I will create what ever I want, given that is unique. Heck, I may even throw in an RB26DETT into the 95GT, just to cause some termoil.

You're deflecting from your original statement that SVT is just hype, basicalyl a dealer sticker package and not worth the money over the models below it and has minimal upgrades.

Your last two messages talk about aftermarket parts and high-end north amercian cars. Neither of those two things have anything to do with your original statement.

You don't tell a collector of a limited edition car something "man.. I could get me a civic dx hatchback for like 200 bux and drop a j-spec 1251bcam F5 ALT-F4 in it and then rip the interior out and dropa GReddy T-63 kit in there and beat that Z06 no problem". That's what ricers say.

I donno about anyone here but I'd rather have a 67 GT500 that is slower than a 600whp Civic any day of the week. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
