1973 Q code Mach 1 with 351 Cobra Jet

From the day I bought it to last fall. The hood blackout on these photos is incorrect and being corrected this month, but the finish on the car is sweet. Interior is all original and untouched. Will add photos when I have good ones to post. The engine that was in it was not numbers matching and I knew that. Bought it to drive and enjoy so I was cool with that. Tracked down and bought a built 351C cobra jet with bigger hp than original factory cobra jet. Original hp was 266, this one is 335 on dyno. Matched with the C6 transmission, correct flywheel, and Hooker headers and it thumps along just perfect and has a throaty rumble that is good and loud when you put your foot into it. Changed the rims and beefed up the tires on the rear end and now it's time to go cruisin'. See you guys out there. Read more »
