On the way home from work today I came to the conclusion that, having seen the car in the same location twice in a row, the owner must live in that area. So I cruised a bit and found it quite easily.

Head north on Robie toward the MacKay Bridge. When you pass the traffic lights near the "Greco Pizza" (the last set of lights before you reach the bridge), keep to the right and go up the hill. The car is parked on that street, whatever it's called

Anyhow I found it and parked. It is a full body kit, hood, wing and Cobra R wheels put onto a GT. The GT badges are still on the car. The owner poked his head out the window of his apartment and told me the car itself is an 01 GT.

It looks very good :tup

we have the same thing over here in b.c a guy near my place has a 2003 gt convert in black with a full kit, rims and soon to come motor. its already pushing over 500hp but he wants to make it as close to a real R as possible. looks sweet, but i prefer stock exterior unless such a kit is needed for aerodynamics.

If you run the R wing you need the splitter. The wing actually creates enough downforce that without the splitter the nose gets light. Here is one of the ones in BC

The R is an amazing car!
I never was up close and personal to one before this past weekend.
Actually saw one on the track too - and it was full race ready too.

Amazing machines!

Funny story... earlier tonight I was waiting for my family to arrive to the restaurant and a guy sees my car and starts talking about how he had a Cobra R before... a (get this) blue 2001 model. hahahaha I wasn't sure what I should do... just nod my head or correct him. I figured since I'm about to go inside and he's still outside, I should just go with it if I want my car to be there afterwards. :)

I saw the one at legendary in person. It was a great looking car, well worth the money if you ask me.

I hope to get the wing, splitter and hood done one of these days.
