Hi Everyone,
Just bought a 2000 Saleen from another province. To my surprise when the car arrived, I opened the hood and no supercharger.Just to confirm that I'm not crazy, don't all Saleens come with a supercharger. There is a riveted Saleen plate in the engine bay and everything. Just confused,

Googled it, and the Saleen Club of America has a chart....looks like there were S281 models, and S281SC models, I'm guessing you got the non SuperCharged S281.

I could be wrong, don't know much about Saleens, just guessing.

 

Some of them had pretty much stock GT engines, with body / suspension / brakes / wheels as the primary mods.

As others have said, there are N/A and S/C models. Sorry to hear you had to find out that way.
