Thanks for all of the responses. I was looking for something directly from Canada because of the exchange rates and fees. Covercraft is from the states (free shipping only for US) as is carid. Looks like steeda.ca is Canadian (prices 'start' around $300). I guess you can't avoid paying one way or the other. I'll have to continue searching and think about it.

I see that you can order 'coverking' custom fit covers directly through costco.ca. Not sure if it ships directly from US and thus subject to brokerage fees? Anyone out there get one of these?

I just discovered something interesting. I also own a 1965 Corvair and have an old inside type car cover for it no longer in use. Guess what! It fits the Mustang. So, I will use it as the winter dust cover and keep looking for an outdoor cover for the spring.

Yup. I agree . Not to go way off topic, but my son bought this one in 1994 as his very first car for summer driving. I became his mechanic and we rebuilt it, had it repainted etc. In about 2000 he wanted something he could drive year round so I bought it off him. This way he can get his first car back whenever he wants it!

I didn't realize that it has been so long since I posted about my 03 conv. The good news is that last week we had a beautiful day so I dropped the top and went for the first cruise of this season. The bad news is that when the top was retracting it separated from the top of the rear window glass . See photo below. I understand that this is a common problem for these cars! It is now in an upholstery shop in Brantford for repairs. I suspect that there is a new top in my not too distant future! Has anyone else had this happen?

Phil

That sucks. I've never seen it before but most of the convertibles I've been around have been 05 and newer.
