GT 500 Hood

Well it is on painted and striped. I had to put a scoop on it because Purolator kicked the crap out of it during shipping. I need to figure out how to copy and paste the pictures on this site. I may have to get one of the kids in grade two who live on my street to help me.

So, if shipping hadn't used the hood as a makeshift football would it have been a straight bolt on?

It bolted on without making any adjustments. I used the same marks where the hood had been installed on the previous car and when I closed it it fit perfectly and didn't have to make any adjustments other than to drill a small hole for the squirter tube rubber to connect. The real problem was fixing the mess Purolator caused. The hood was black originally and I was going to leave it that for a while at least because it looked kind of mean that way. I have a couple of pictures and i will try and download them tonight.

Looks great. Frames the headlights nicely - great call on ordering that hood! And now its official - a Shelby hood will fit a GT without any modifications!

Looks good dude. I wouldn't do the additional hood scoop, looks a little busy, but it's not my car. Love the colour though - it's killer with those black stripes.
