And exhaust upgrades are nothing too major. As far as warranty goes they are worried about tunes I'd think.

Also he still has the cats in there I believe so really no biggy, if he had pulled the cats and done headers it would be a much bigger warranty no no.

Sometimes it depends on the dealership, and your relationship with them.
I am going to have to talk to the service guys as i talked to the parts counter guys and they told me anything before the cats and warranty is totally voided. |

How do you not worry about voiding warranty?
I would love to do a full setup but don't want to void warranty.... so either I have to wait 5 years or put on a crap load of km's in a hurry to get past the warranty to start modding. Soon to be my suspension. Engine / Powertrain is still valid at this point :) If the source of failure is due to exhaust (is it ever?) then I'll feel bad, lol. |

I really want to toss an intake and a tune on the car, but that'll come next year, have everything ready to go lol. I just have to be patient.

Gotta ask now that you have had the roush mufflers on far awhile have you noticed any rust on the end of the mufflers and any of the welds starting to crack.I want to upgrade I'd like to install roush cat backs or borla ataks but they are really expensive but the roushs have had some issues, decisions decisions

When I upgrade, it will be the Borla's...... just not sure which versions it will be.

Rust starting to show? Yes, I've already contacted my dealer regarding this. I'm sure you're like me who googled "Roush + Rust" lol. I knew what I was getting into so I expect my dealer to honor that, considering that the vehicle was never winter driven and didn't see much rain.... I'm still VERY satisfied with the Roush ABs to be honest, so happy with the exhaust note.

The Touring are far too quiet, my friends sold them off for Flowmasters The Ataks are crazy raspy and then there are the Stypes which sound like the Roush. |
I am thinking I will probably go with the S-Type. The attacks are too loud/raspy. I agree with you. Touring is very mellow and better off staying with the stockers. But guess I might look into the Flowmasters or Roush AB's. haven't done much research to be honest. I drive mine in winter so I need something that can hold up to the sand/salt they use. I don't drive all the time, but when the wife and I can't car pool for work and such, then the Stang comes out. I might have taken it out maybe 10 times between beginning of november - today.
